This is the first Triptych I have ever had created. It was an interesting process in terms of arranging elements within the composition and simplifying the forms. The images, collectively, became a representation rather than a literal recreation of an actual place - through a process quite different to that with which I'm accustomed. I am very pleased with the overall effect; moments from my own experience of the lake create a scene that parallels the image in my minds eye, rather than a document of the actual visits. In a sense it is the same approach that you will see in some of the cityscapes being prepared for my upcoming show.
